lineup of towers as far as the eye goes in copy paste image, the horizon unfolds the heart of a system it solely sustains pumping power like blood in our veins dispatch always rising, to satisfy research pushing us further towards the edge from overloaded sensors to signal distort to chain malfunction and system abort blackout! the power runs out! transmissions end, as the poles shut down the sensory bombardment seems to never end oblivious to our addiction, the fate it impends in surface it appears we evolve different outlook, identical resolve now our machines won’t work anymore civilisation has gone out the door with empty prayers pleading, cowering in defeat lost in defeat, lost in static blackout! the power runs out! transmissions end, as the poles shut down blackout! the lights go out! transmission pole!
2.
The Retreat 01:31
the last of the before conspire behind locked doors berated and condemned we’ll fight on to the very end sanity is a luxury that’s left far behind cerebral isolation, grinds down the mind constant opposition, constant adversity to all that remains true, to all that matters in the end the retreat becomes swift, the situation worsens the gamble is lost, and down falls the curtain the last of the before conspired behind locked doors berated and condemned we fought on to the very end
3.
Lost Signal 01:56
lost in static the last signals fade out through broken transmission poles the warning signs never shown on monitors on monitors and TV screens and the signal’s lost, undetected there goes the warning before the collapse impotent people gabbing bullshit advice as we are reduced to nothing bloated air waves filling already bloated minds turning lives into stomachs that have to throw up and as the drums of inner war keep pummelling louder and harder with every single beat we all we march steadily toward defeat, defeat
4.
No Response 04:29
just around every corner life eternal might welcome my soul but i only think of the future, never reap what i sow anxiety has become nature, it’s all i’ve ever known living life for tomorrow but today so alone i’ve reduced my life to zero trying to accept i have to let things resolve on their own to endure the pain, to suffer the loss, to live life in silence, getting no response
5.
a hospice reality a medicine given and taken in exact doses to ensure a life confined in comfort and fear and the mirror always judges (laughs at) you as you pop another pill as you slowly accept the fate of being terminally ill contemplating on what could have been as you sit and wait for the reaper to come for you, relieve you from your conscience a hospice reality, this is the sad path i have chosen
6.
plotting deep in the shadows demons from the past, all under chain command draw circles and shift shapes all in perfect order to lure you into their trap and push you off the border going by a different name yet one and the same invading your rooms in nighttime haunting your soul and your brain behind locked doors and passwords experts deliver updated reports on dumbed down fools, who target wooden statues with a stick in hand, and their mind in the trash can going by a different name yet one and the same you plan your life in accordance you play right into their game standing attention marching in line
7.
peace is shattered by a declaration of war, of my own war there’s anger burning in my soul, and i can’t take it anymore to hear the voices laughing, as i fall through another trapdoor the boiling screaming from within, i can’t ignore, i won’t ignore staring deep into the void until it starts to stare back right in the face of all those who ramble about science and fact confronted with the dilemma of no future, or one that’s painted black the inevitable loss of all options the glare of the abyss, the anxiety attack the signal of the end, the end of days the final collapse of decadent ways the never-ending war, from deep inside the seizure of control, the turn of the tide and with the death of the present returns a long lost hope i hold dear to my heart, gives me strength to cope that i’ll be no more the hunted i’ll be no more the prey i’ll be no more the scapegoat for the frauds, the liars and the world of today
8.
screeching sounds signal the departure of the last train bound north a frail looking man steps on to the last car of the last train bound north following the voices echoing from the snow a grey apparition shapes up on a window of the last train bound north speaking in tongues it reveals ancient truths to the last man bound north north to the terminal station north north north no trace of light disturbs the fog at the terminal station no trace of life disturbs the silence at the terminal station only the ones hearing the voices will be entering the gates last man on earth at the terminal terminally ill at the terminal last man on earth at the terminal station
9.
The Burden 00:18
yet another day, put down by misery yet another week, leading towards despair yet another tool, into which i seek epiphany yet another fool, for me not to compare myself, no shame, i am insane
10.
barricaded windows fragments of glass ruined landscapes empires collapse ashes to ashes dust to dust to dust signalling our defeat at the hands of the enemy led into blind alleys and garden paths through lifeless, abandoned industrial plants all scattered reminders of glories from our past earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust
11.
Trapdoor 01:54
a bastard society with bastard people who stab me in the back every single day fall through yet another trapdoor the cycle seems to never end and everybody laughs as i fall in the trap again
12.
ghostly figures fade away, turn into stone while hollow, people stand in line, waiting for offers offers, guarding, the web of schemes that takes up your time offers, loaning temporary happiness in exchange for your life taking all they offer, volunteer to suffer pay for the rest of your life, repay! and when you find the will to change your mind there’s no way out
